The Blue Room: A Work Space Re-Imagined

This year has been brutal. It’s demanded so much of us. We’ve had to adapt and adjust, sometimes many times over to accommodate the amount of profound change and set of circumstances we were thrown. If we’re lucky, this year has also delivered clarity and gratitude for what we have. If we are luckier still, we’ve become aware of a unique opportunity for a shift in priorities provided by that clarity. An opening to what really matters, and what we want our life to look and feel like going forward. This home studio feels like the physical manifestation of this opening for me. And I will look back at this moment in my life with immense gratitude for the community that helped me land here.

With this studio, the divide between work and Self has softened and formed into something new that I’m still enjoying the daily discovery of. Every day feels ripe with expansion and inspiration. But there’s also a simplification, an ease in my understanding of my identity as a practitioner because I as a whole am able to be more present. Feeling whole in my Self is crucial to the way I show up for you in session, and feeling fully expressed in my work is essential to the way I feel in my Self. I went into designing this studio with a different process than I have in the past. It was more personal. More authentic to who I am. This wasn’t about what a ‘spa’ space is supposed to look like, it was about how you should feel while receiving a session. The integration of work life and life-life seems effortless and natural, and that’s saying an awful lot while I’m still finding my rhythm amidst the pandemic-related newness of this work. To feel this familiar joy return to our work together gives me great hope for the future of Full Heart Healing.

At times it’s felt vulnerable to share this space with you all, in a way it is such a reflection of myself. But it’s been so sweetly connecting, and connection with my Full Heart Healing community is what I’ve longed for most this year. The Blue Room was created with the intention to bring ease to those inside of it, myself included. To help you lighten and soften. To delight your senses as you take a pause from whatever is sitting on your mind or your heart in this moment. So many of you know how this space feels already, and for those who don’t, here is a collection of my favorite corners. The most joyous plants, peaceful blue hues, time-worn woods and my full heart are waiting here to welcome you in.

Whenever you’re ready.
