Safety Protocol Update: Winter 2022

Happy New Year, my dear full hearts.

It’s a time to feel fresh and new. To feel hopeful for what this year will bring, while remaining grounded and grateful for what we have in this very moment. Luckily we have so much to be grateful for.

For Full Heart Healing, a new year means it’s once again time to realign our safety precautions to match the current need. Because what I’m grateful for is you. And keeping you well is my first priority.

I’d like to report that things have continued to feel safe and cozy here in the new studio. Perhaps due to the fact that I find cleaning meditative or that I am (what I like to refer to as) a gentle germaphobe, everyone seems to have stayed well under my watch. But given that it’s Winter once again, and the tide has shifted some with covid safety, it’s my responsibility to shift with it to keep on this success rate.

As of Monday, January 17th, I am asking all clients to provide proof of vaccination (or negative test within 24 hours) at the time of session. I understand some folks might have some feelings around this new protocol, and as anyone who has worked with me knows I respect and honor your feelings, greatly. Whatever they may be, they are valid, and I welcome any and all conversations around them. For me, it’s not a simple decision, but it’s an easy one, the right one for my business at this time. It allows me to keep you well to the best of my ability, and to keep all those who choose to have sessions here feeling that much more confident about their safety, and that much more able to use their time here for profound healing.

This new piece of the FHH safety protocol will be temporary. It will be lifted once it feels appropriate, and I’ll let you know as soon as that happens. If you need help finding access to testing, please reach out. I’m not sure I’d be any better at finding one than you, but damn it I’ll try. I always want you to have what you need.

A few pieces will remain the same - longer time cushions between clients, constant deep cleaning and use of hospital grade disinfectants, proper air flow due to a filter and/or an open window, and masking. But I’ve chosen to upgrade my masks to N95’s, and I have returned to using my infrared thermometer upon each client’s arrival. You’re in good hands here, dear community!

Thank you for taking the time to read this. And thank you for all the years of continued support. This practice is more important than ever, and I feel like I’ve won the lottery with every session you schedule.

With deepest gratitude,

Neva
